Roman II Hotel

This hotel is old and jaded. The room was overlooked by residents in the flat opposite. The balcony and furniture were dirty. The air conditioning was very poor. We had 2 TVs stacked on top of each other in our room and the decoration was poor (the headboard/wardrobe/power points had all been painted over !) The bathroom was very small and old - although the shower was quite powerful. We returned from town at approx 11pm and were not able to purchase any drinks. No fridge in room. We were alarmed as we walked along the badly carpetted corridoors to see numerous "unopened" condoms outside several room doors.The swimming pool on the roof was small. Breakfeast is served over the road was plentiful and we felt it met everyones needs. In summary we were thankful we had only booked the 1 night as we could not wait to leave in the morning. We would never recomend this hotel to anyone.

Night two of seven: blup...blup...blup ...a leakage in the room! Was offered another room but remained due to good sea view. Hoped someone would seal the leakage from above. ...But there was no sign of of any action whatsoever! TV did not work properly with or without hand control. • Location good, staff friendly. Food OK. Fantastic location of pool on the roof!Would not hesitate to try Roman another time myself but would not put guests without checking quality level.
• There was no sign of any action against water leakage whatsoever! TV did not work properly with or without remote control. Hard bed.
