Hotel del Centro

I stayed at this hotel alone for five nights and it was very comfortable and safe. All the staff of the hotel were very kind. The counter clerks were proficient in English and always gave me appropriate information. The room was always kept clean. I also had a good breakfast. They served good coffee and it was a joy in the morning. This hotel is located close to the central station, facing Via Roma. It was very convenient in terms of public transportation and shopping. If I have a chance to visit Palermo again, I will certainly stay at this hotel.

We found the Hotel del Centro the best value on our entire trip. The facilities were excellent, secure, and staff very helpful.

Just the average facilities, but staffs are quite nice.

The hotel was ok and the staff excellent. It was easy to reach the hotel from the railway station by foot.

The room was nice and the traffic did not disturb us.The staff was polite and professional.

The only problem was that we were robbed after two hours staying in Palermo. It happend just 100 m from the hotel as we were returning there. There is a crossing were two-three narrow streets from the old town reach via Roma. The gang was professional.These kind of happenings are sad specially for Palermo and its reputation. I think we are not returing Sicily and Palermo anymore and we also tell to our several friends not to go there.

Good location in the center near all monuments, railway and bus stations at 5 mn walking.
