Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was plentyful.
Not being informed that it was up 2 hills from town centre. Noisey as all doors slammed shut. Draughed Beer in the Bar was flat.

The Trevone hotel was ideal for a short break in Newquay. The room was clean and well presented, with plenty of fresh, clean towels and complimentary toiletries which was a nice touch. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The hotel was ideally placed for easy access to the bus depot, main shopping area and no more than a 10 minute walk to Towan Beach. The other beaches such as Fistral were also within easy walking distance. It wasn't the most modern hotel in town but it was certainly value for money and when in Newquay you will not be spending much time indoors anyway. If you are looking for a reasonably priced room for the night then I would recommend the Hotel Trevone to anybody.
I liked its proximity to town and the beaches. Although it was set back far enough from the pubs and clubs that you will not be disturbed by late night partying.

Iwas disapointed in general with the hotel, as was not aware it was on a main road where all traffic had to use 24 hours a day. We did expect evening meal to be included in the price, which for bed and breakfast was dear, what food we had in the morning was excellent. As the weather was dreadful(nothing to do with the hotel) we spent a lot of time in our room and left a day early to have a decent nights sleep away from the noise of the continuos traffic. Also I did explain that we were elderly so felt we should have been made aware that their was a stag night and hen night the saturday we arrived. Sorry to be so negative, but we was very disapointed.
Staff very friendly and cleaning was excellent.
Yes provide chairs in bedrooms so if weather is bad we at least can sit comfortable to watch t.v.

I would well recommend this hotel, the cooked breakfast was excellent and even catered for vegetarians!!! The staff were really friendly and it was in an ideal location, and at a resonable rate.

Supprised at the bar beinging closed at 20.30 when it was recommended time of closing was 23.59. The rooms were clean but are in need of refurbishment. The hotel is currently being refurbished from the ground floor upwards. The staff were very polite and helpfull.
