Preciados VIP

This was a wonderful hotel that I would certainly recommend and will stay in again. We had a superior room but I expect all rooms are of a high standard. Breakfast was buffet style but included cream cakes as well as the usual things. We arrived very early due to travel arrangements but the staff on duty were very helpful and we were invited to have breakfast before checking in and were in our room long before the normal check in time. Most staff spoke English and in some cases were very fluent.

Nice central location, within walking distance of Puerto del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Rooms are very clean and modern. It was very hot in Madrid, but the air conditioning worked great!

Second time in Madrid, we booked at Preciados with no hesitation. And we are very glad.

There are other advised hotels from my friends but I found Preciados by myself and satisfied a lot.

	TV channels could be more international.

It has a very good location, 5 minutes walk to Pta Del Sol. The people were kind, room was clean and comfy. Nothing bad to say.

	Minibar was free :)

I'm sorry to tell you the truth but I was quite disappointed because we didn't have hot water twice in the same week with my collegue apparently for technical reasons due to the system managed by computer according to reception I wrote a claim in a book to explain I expected a commercial gesture to compensate that but I haven't received anything up to now and I will indicate to the marketing department of Bnp Paribas bank in Paris where I work that we can't "work" with this hotel anymore if I don't receive any compensation I don't require so much I mean, a free room for one night or whatever but at least something Thank you for your understanding Very truly yours regards

I travel a great deal and from that reference point I found the hotel delightful; well situated, very comfortable with spacious rooms, friendly and accomodating staff and great value.

	I enjoyed the scale of the hotel, smaller and more intimate. I loved the adjacent restaurant/bar for light snacks, etc. It was like an extension of my room, vs. a 'restaurant scene'
