Jardin de Recoletos

An ideal hotel for a weekend break in July - large, cool, quiet rooms and easy walk from everywhere a tourist might want to visit.

	The entrance hall gave a feeling of cleanliness and coolth which was mirrored throughout the hotel. Staff attentive if a little cool too.
	The only downside for us was the expense of the evening meal; the terrace looked extremely inviting but we would have liked an option of a meal for 25 euros each rather than 50. As the restaurant did not appear to be full at any time might it not be good to have more of a choice of meal type?

I love the hotel, love the location, love the responsiveness of the staff. The restaurant is great for breakfast but I did not like the selection and price for meals and dinners. Thank God it has the caffeteria. This time the room was a little noise and I am very sensitive. But it was our fist bnight, I think we were too near the scalators and people is not very nice thinking of others that are in theuir rooms resting. I like the hotel so much that I would like it to be not so well know so as to find rooms easily when I need them. My only complaint: when you are travelling and combining business with leisure, I do not like the idea of taking my computer with me. I had some work to do and I had to seek for an internet establishement outside as the hotel provides you with connection but does not have a computer for all. I would prefer to pay for the service but avoid the need to travel with my lap top.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful, our room was well appointed and we really enjoyed our weekend in Madrid. The hotel was close to the Metro and several attractions we within walking distance.

This hotel was excellent. It is beautiful, clean, and the services are first rate. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and professional.

	The room, the staff and the breakfast was fabulous.
