Senator Gran Via Hotel

This is a hotel which understands that when you get to your room, what you want is a nice bath, a hot drink or a cold beer with ice from the machine in the corridor - all included in the price, which varies from day to day. One gets the feeling that each member of staff is asked to contribute his or her ideas on how to make the visitor feel happy. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

	The staff is very kind and always ready to help. We had a good breakfast. We could walk from the hotel to most of the interesting places in Madrid.

Very pleased with the hotel. decor inside truly lovely. Buffet in evening was wonderful value. Bathroom well stocked with extras, as was small fridge in bedroom.

	Misunderstanding about booking: breakfast was included and they check in without it; after my claim they have immediately admitted the error. The sheets were dirty (the stain had not perhaps come away with the laundry) but they have changed it excusing themself and offering us some sparkling wine.

brillant location very near every where, no need to use public trnasport. rooms are very small though, only 1ft on either side of the bed, we complained and where moved to a slightly bigger room. Also rooms are very very quiet
