Hotel 82 London

Close to Baker Street tube station. Plenty of restaurants & cafes close by. Our Room was a bit small, but very clean modern and tidy. Everything you need in a small space. Staff friendly and very helpful chap on reception.

My most recent visit to Hotel 82 was from 23 May to the 29th. What made my stay unpleasant was that there was no hot water for showering on any morning,at 8am!Secondly from day 1,and for five nights,there was a faulty and flashing light outside my bedroom window which disturbed my sleep.I reported this matter to reception immediately but had to draw this matter to their attention on three more occasions before the problem was sorted. Since returning home I have e-mailed the management to express my dismay, but have not received a reply to date!

The hotel was fine clean good location. The continental brakfast was good. our only complain was there was no hot water on the first night we arrived and as we had travelled from Belgium we were in need of a hot bath or shower. There was a burn on the bedroom carpet,but apart from those two things it was fine.

I found the place alright although one of the reasons I stayed there was that they advertised that they were not far from the Heathrow Express and they way they stated it was that you could walk from there. That was not so! The help at the desk was not very nice or helpful - 1)I had large luggage and they did not help me with it to my room, 2)when I left it in the locked storage space or 3)when I was coming in and leaving the hotel. The cleaning help were nice and breakfast was fine. Location was also fine.

Hotel's location (5 min. to Oxford St.), staff and room facilities are so satisfactory as single traveler. Room was so small but cleanliness of the room and comfort are basic factors to effect my review. Also, breakfast was assorted and delicious. For your heavy luggages, hotel has elevator. I recommend this hotel.
