We enjoyed our stay at your hotel and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and all beverage needs ( milk, cream, tea bags, coffee ) replenished promptly. The only thing that I would have any complaint about, would be that the dining room was rather cramped ( not too much elbow room ) apart from that, I would have no trouble recommending your hotel to any of my friends... the location of course is excellent.

We were to of us, my daughter at 14 age and me. We stayed 2 nights at the hotell. I chosed the hotel on internett, because it was recomand as this week hotell( B&B) in London. And because I liked the history of the hotell known as the fameous writer Edward Lear`home.I like the old fasioned style, and the hotell is sentral situated.
I enjoyed the stay very much. I spesially liked all the flowers in front of the house, they welcomed us! My daughter thought it was a bit too old fashioned! Small rooms, stairs and bathroom in the corridor. Shower in the room. It was very clean and the service and spesially the breakfast was very good. We got a very good price forthe stay too!! I recomand this hotell to others who like the old fashioned style. |

Conveniently placed, easy walk from Marble Arch underground. Plain-vanilla accommodation at a reasonable price. Stayed there before, and would happily do so again.
Close to transport, close to Hyde Park, close to Bond Street |

It's a long climb up stairs to a room on the fourth floor, but we accept that as part of the deal. Bathroom was a bit tired, but we got what we paid for. No complaints. |

The location is just great - that is why I started staying there 15 years ago. The staff is always pleasant and very efficient.
Location couldn't be better. Nice early breakfast so we can get on our way. They called and arranged for a cab to pick me up and take me to Victoria Station when I was leaving to get the train - I really appreciated that. They helped me figure out how to make a local phone call. |

Being no lift, I have to carry my luggage up many flights of stairs. I am getting to old for that. Wish the hotel could take care of at least getting the luggage upstairs and I can deal with getting it down at the end of my stay. |

We were disappointed as we stayed here 5 yrs. ago and found it in much better condition - some furniture was dirty and tacky - needs remodeling badly - especially the baths and downstairs lounge. Good location though!
Convenient location to the subway |

The exterior of the hotel is very nice, and it's well located. But, as we were 2 parents with a child, we had a room for 3, which was just under the roof. It was very small. And, there wasn't much water in the shower ! One day, there was only a few drops of cold water !!! The breakfast was dissapointing : we have had much better breakfast in England !!
The esthetic of the house and the location |
