Location is good and convenient as it is near the Kingcross station. breakfast is good and staff are very helpfull. The double bed is a bit smaller for a couple during summer.Shuld have floor mate in the toilet to dry the feet after shower. The shower curtain can further improve to avoid water splashing around during shower.
convenient and overall nice hotel |

First time there, will book again, no complaints. Clean. Friendly helpful staff.
Good location near train station and tube, at the right price. Accomodation for price and length of stay perfectly adequate. |
|
If I was being picky, room was a bit small, but for length of stay, I have no complaints. |

The hotel was like a rabbit warren. Corridors and especially staircases were very narrow, and it was difficult to get cases up the narrow twisting staircases. Mattresses on the beds were very basic, and they tended to boing when you sat on them. Being in the bed business for 14 years I knew they were of very poor quality. Bed bases were very low, and I had difficulty getting up out of them. Also opening into the en suite shower was ver narrow and I had to walk sideways to get through. Breakfast was the same every mnorning, no variety.
Close proximity to Kings X railway station and close to tube station and easy access to all public transport |

Despite a specific request for a double room when I booked, we did not get one on the first night. e. The room was hot and pokey. The second night we moved to a double room and it was OK
The staff were very helpful. |

poor quality of food for breakfast - the muesli was porridge oats with sugar in it, the beans the cheapest (and not hot) I would stay again IF I could be assured of double room as it is a good proce and central but I would not eat the breakfast! |

Room in attic was in poor state of repair and extremely hot. Whether outside was warm and radiators were red hot!
Location, cheap. |

Delapidated. |

This hotel must rank as one of the worst we have ever stayed in. Our room in the cellar was cold and unappealing with no heating on in the bedroom, we were obliged to place a towel at the bottom of the bathroom door to stop the draught. The bathroom although heated was so cold that you did not linger long. As we had to leave early without breakfast I will not comment on the catering side.

Needed something in Kings cross, I did not want to pay over the top rates as the whole trip was all last minute and also may not happen at the last minute, (which actually I did check out one night early). Staff were great, ran by an English women which means you could have true insight to the surronding area and local knowledge. Thr room was as good as can be expected for such a low budget hotel. Nothing to compalain about, good size and clean but not 5 star. Im sure you could find a lot more to complain about in other same rated type hotels. Breakfast was help yourself to as many bangers as you care too. Great. WOuld I return, for a short stop over with great connections, you can see Kings cross station from the front door yet it was a quiet street. Hard to believe but thats the truth. YES:
Location. Breakfast. |

TV was poor, and the person before me had even taken the batteries out of the controller but the hotel provided more without complaint. |
