Frontage and reception was fine. Staff were a bit rattled when we arrived due to the computer system crashing but they coped well when five people arrived to check in at the same time. There was a slight discrepency between the price quoted on my sheet and what we were going to be charged but that was sorted quickly due to me having the paperwork with me showing the charges I had been quoted. Don't know about other rooms but the room I was in (311) showed definite signs of very bad wear and tear, should have been decorated well before now. The room, bed linen and towels were all very clean though.
Location was great. Restaurants and bars nearby and Russell Square for a bit of greenery. It was also in walking distance from the event I was attending |

Decor was very shabby in the room I had. Paper peeling from the walls and ceiling giving a feeling of dereliction. |

Good value for money. Rooms a bit small, but all services and details were complete. The staff were correct and polite, but not very knowledgeable with tourist information.
Not being a big breakfast eater, I was very happy with the coffee and biscuits provided in the room. |
