For a single traveler such as myself,Blakemore is an excellent choice and i'll definitely staying over at Blakemore for my next trip to London soon.
the cleanliness and the convenience of travelling to the nearest tube station. |
|
the toilets should furnish with a pail or something :) |

I had booked for another 2 weeks in July but as the staff at reception could not tell me what room I would be allocated and because many of the rooms have still not been refurbished I will now probably cancel.
Central location |
|
ignorant reception staff and refurbishment still has a long way to go |

Very pleased with this hotel + Staff very friendly & helpful. When we arrived we found that our room had been upgraded. This was very much appreciated.

The hotel is nice and well-situated close to Paddington and Queensway stations, minute walks from Hyde Park. The hotel is good one even if we regret the "binary" shower: either it is too cold or it is too hot, but when it is hot, you no longer return to cold shower. Except this issue, this hotel is a valuable one
The proximity to London shopping streets and to Paddington station |
|
Well, I prefer a larger bathroom since the shower is with the toilets, and this is really a small space |

Doesn't have AC. Depending on how familiar you are with London. It isn't as central as my favorite place on the Strand. Hence the great price. However, it is still central London, don't expect to be at Buckingham palace in a 5 minute tube ride. Close to Paddington Station.

Hot, no AC. Not as central as I prefer, but I have been to London so many times, I have lost count. |

excellent location, next to the tube and bus stations. quiet neighborough. Hotel is clean breakfast satisfactory. I booked 1 twin room and 1 double room. The twin room was really nice and comfortable, whereas I was not satisfied with the double room. It was a single room converted into double, very small, I had to jump on the bed as it was impossible to walk around it. It was very cold the heater was almost always switched off.The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy almost irritating. The furniture and wall paper, plus the bathroom were old and in very bad condition needing refurbishment. The bed was comfortable.

The staff at the reception was not so friendly, but in the breakfast room. Breakfast was okay for continental, but a sort of cheese will be fine!
The Location is very central with 3 tube stations and many bus stations and the wonderful Kensington Park near by! |
|
Yes, the room was very small and it was very noisy. The bed had not a good mattress. |

The hotel staff was very collaborative for the payment as I booked for my son and his friends who had not credit card.
the confort of the rooms, the location of the hotel the rates that included breakfast |

Room very small. There was a leak in the en-suite bathroom from the one above. The hotel staff managed to stop it, 'though I was left to mop up before using the room. The following day it leaked again. The state of the ceiling suggests there is a generic problem, which hasn't been tackled, so future guests will doubtless experience more of a shower than they bargained for.
Breakfast was good (I paid extra for English) and the dining room staff were pleasant and helpful |
|
Public areas were reasonably smart, but, based on my experience, I would suggest that there is a lot of refurbishment needed in the bedrooms |
