The Hotel Commodore

Gives impression of being slightly run-down. Helpful female p.m. and a.m. receptionists and breakfast staff.

	Willingness of receptionist to help.

We were looking forward to staying in supposedly a lovely old hotel but in fact we were sent to a room in an Annexe, not in the main hotel at all. The parking was very tight. Generally speaking it was a roof over our heads for the night!

	Checking Out
	We felt as though we had intruded, at breakfast time into an old folks home, what with the elderly residents. Also our bed was very uncomfortable.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere.staff were execelent helpfull. Room was good quiet.

	Elevator was a bit of a problem.The stair handrail felt loose needed a bit of glue

Very tired needs refurbishing.

I have almost forgotten the hotel as it was rather an insignificant part of my weekend. I was in Llandrindod Wells to do the 100 mile walk. The important features of the hotel were that it was 200 yards from the walk start and that the room contained a bed.

	The location, interested staff, and good food.
	The central heating was noisy. The hotel could have done with a bit of paint and general repair.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel looks like there is still a lot of work to do. The food was excellent and the room adequate. The bed was not firm or steady enough for our liking.

An unusually single large room with good facilities. Reception staff were helpful in providing directions within the local area for my meeting. There were ample parking facilities. Staff put themselves out the next day when I missed breakfast, due to my own error in reading the booking form - I was perfectly happy to go without but they insisted on rustling up tea and copious toast! I'll use this hotel in future.

	A nice, efficient, old-fashioned friendly hotel.
