Albergaria Senhora do Monte

It is a nice & clean hotel, real value for money. If you like to be close to the buzz, but not in the middle of it this is the place to be. The view is amazing. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. One minor minus was that we were right below the breakfast room and that was a bit noisy - but not too much. I can really recommend this place and will go back here on my next visit to Lisbon.

Superb location at the top of the hill with excellent view. Very helpful staff. Quite standard but clean rooms.

We are so satisfied! Upon arrival we were "welcomed home" by the receptionist and we really felt like home at once. Fantastic view and staff. We will definitely stay here next we are i Lisbon.

The best thing about the hotel is the view. It is located on top of a popular hill overlooking th best view of Lisbon. Make sure that you get a room with a balcony and ask for breakfast in the balcony. Otherwise the hotel does not always match its 4 star rating.

The view of the castle and river was lovely. The staff was helpful with renting a car, calling a taxi, and giving directions. The breakfast was healthy and tasty.

Very nice hotel with excellent views fro its high vantage point. 20 minute walk to centre, uphill coming back. Staff very helpful & pleasant. Rooms of good size for a couple with usual facilities functioning well. Stayed for 4 nights.

Small, comfortable hotel. Fantastic city views from rooms on upper storeys and breakfast room/bar. Steep walk back to the hotel if you don't have your own transport or use taxis so may not be the best choice for disabled/infirm travellers.

An excellent hotel in a great location beccause it is not in a very 'touristy'area. The local people were very helpful in assisting us to locate the hotel by car. We had a room with a terrace which gave us outside space with great views of the city - when we researched for a hotel, the terrace really made us decide. We had breakfast on the terrace with no extra charge. It is also in a quiet location. We easily walked to the Castelo De Sao Gorge and back but we took a taxi to the Bairro Alto. We found a local restaurant to eat at where the owner spoke excellent English and the food was delicious.

	The size of the room and the terrace with superb views over Lisbon. The friendly service. A good rate including breakfast and the terrace. A small hotel.
