Staff were very friendly and the food in the pub restaurant was quite good

	They did not rush me to check out at 12pm I was able to check out at 1pm which I was very appreciative of, as I did get to bed late the night before
	The decor is a bit outdated but thats it really

One hotel to avoid. I was very very disappointed with this hotel. This is the first time I have written such a negative review of a hotel as I am not difficult to please. I stay in hotels all over Ireland and this is by far the worst, although not the cheapest.Do they train their staff?

Food and service in Cream Room restaurant very good.

Plenty!Poor choice of breakfast for which I paid 13 euro. Cold breakfast. Poor service at breakfast-had to leave before anyone came with coffee/toast. Staff unfriendly. 10 minutes trying to contact reception from bedroom. What if it was an emergency? No information re buses /trains from Limerick available at reception once bus/train station closed. incorrect information re facilities given in bedroom guide according to reception.I could go on and on...

This hotel has deteriorated significantly in the last few years, it now seems to cater mostly for coachtours and the bar is a horror of 'traditional' style - where is the modern comfortable lounge to relax in? I will try to avoid staying here again. staff were surly and incompetent, from messing up payment to very slow drinks service. The room was cold with no visible means of adjusting the temperature.
