Fantastic location for battlefield. Comfortable small hotel with friendly staff. Excellent well priced restaurant, although breakfast unimaginative

The hotel was basic for our requirements. Staff were helpful especially after a very late arrival because of flight problems. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF E-MAIL ADDRESS

The hotel is really nice, fabulous location, very clean with friendly staff. It is almost an ideal hotel for any visitor to the Waterloo battlefield.

The most impressive aspect of the hotel was its staff - friendly and efficient. The rooms are not bad but not great comfort - e.g. remote controls did not work; limited choice of TV channels; curtains not heavy enough to block out the light; Waterloo theme in the room's name not really echoed by decorations/art etc. We did not dine there but breakfast was fine.

I and my guests found the hotel excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful. We also enjoyed our evening meals there too. I would certainly book future visits in at the Hotel Waterloo or recommend it to other people. It is in an ideal location as well for people interested in history.
The staff were very helpful to my mother who is in her seventies and needed a bit of extra help. |
