Apollo Hotel Lelystad City Centre

Thank you. My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at your hotel. We were very impressed with the variety which was available for breakfast. If we ever return to Lelystad we will certainly come again to stay.

	The only improvement I would like to see, not only in your hotel but throughout the European contries we visited, is tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms like we have here in New Zealand hotels.

The hotel fee is very high. Lelystad is not a big city like Amsterdam. In local areas, the hotel fee should be low. Mercure Hotel in Lelystad is a four srars hotel. The room is big enough, but it does not have any clock.

	We had a scientific symposium at Doronten which was too far from Lelystad.

The room needs refurbishing, the bathroom especially is worn down and the wall covering is dirty and torn. The room was never very clean, and the mattresses need to be replaced as well as the pillows which have an odor. We asked for a quiet room and got a room facing the street which was very noisy at all hours. Sleeping there was a nightmare. The breakfast included is very good, and very varied.

	The location is great, but it creates a noisy atmosphere that filters into the rooms as they have no air conditioning. The breakfast included in the price is very good.
	I felt that the room never was cleaned and that it needs an urgent refurbishing as the room is worn and torn. There were 3 lightbulbs that did not work, and the bathroom walls were covered with an old torn wallpaper and the bathtub needs repairs and grouting.

The staff was very friendly, but also very busy with their work. I like personell that can make a bit conversation with the guests.
