Citrus Hotel

Great service comfortable room, great breakfast, location a little far from city centre but otherwise great value for money!

	the staff didnt warn us of what areas were not good for walking through...we stumbled throught the local red light area...however it became a topic of a good laugh later.

I think parking is a big problem. I don't feel secure parking my car and there's a very limited parking lot. If you think of driving, Citrus hotel is not the right choice. I didn't ever dare to go out at night coz of parking problem. Other than that I have no problem staying in this hotel.

This is probably the best hotel I have stayed in terms of value for money. The staff was quite helpful throughout and the room was quite big and very comfortable and of course clean. The standard of rooms and service are definitely deserving more than 3 star. The only slight issue may be that it is not right in the middle of the city centre. However, taxis are quite cheap in Kualalumpur and there are also overhead train stops 5-10 walk away from the hotel. All in all, I would strongly recommend this hotel and would visit again.

The breakfast buffet was not very well organised. Also on a number of days, it was announced that during the buffet that it would end half an hour early. It is perfectly understandable if the hotel changed the timing but such announcements should be given earlier to all guests. I actually saw some guests coming to the breakfast area 15 minutes before it was supposed to end, only to find out the waiters had already cleared out most of the dishes and plates and had to have breakfast elsewhere.

The room was nice. Clean and well decorated (what I would call Ikea chic). The hotel itself was a little less impressive, but acceptable. The hallways were a bit depressing, and they played Christmas music EXTREMELY loud in the mornings, which I could hear in my room...over the sound of my TV! I found the location wasn't great and there were no restaurants within walking distance, which was an issue for me as I found the food at the restaurant inedible. I would still recommend it for the price.
