Old Town Apartments

The first apartment we were given was up on the second floor, no lift and no help with luggage, be warned those who are elderly or who have back problems. The apartment was entirely unsuitable as it was a cupboard, I complained about the size and lack of amenities and we were moved. The facilities that are listed are not available, I told the office that they should amend this as it is completely misleading. Our new apartment was a much better size, although shoddily equipped with no thought or style; there was no sink in the kitchen! No full length mirror, only one power point in the kitchen although there were four by the bed. The apartment was situated in a quieter street than the last although it was above a night club.

	The apartments were very warm
	Not the standard that we would expect, better suited to students. Represented very poor value for money, we could have had two weeks in Spain with all facilities for the same price.

Good location in the center of Krakow, but very, very noisy night-cafe in the street. Becouse in the flat there was not air conditioner, you had the following choices: not sleep becouse of high teperature in the room of 30 deegre, or, if you open the window, not sleep becouse of the noise.

Comfortable, excellent location, reasonable rates.

	The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
	We were on the 3rd floor of a building with no lift so we had to carry luggage up stairs, but I appreciate that these are old buildings in the centre of the old town so this could not be helped. We would have liked a telephone line, and as it was 39 degrees celsius, more than one fan would have been nice. Otherwise we were quite comfortable.

We are very pleased with the stay in Krakow, and the people of Old Town Apartments deserve 11 out of 10 points!!!

The only significant problem was a booking mistake made by the Warsaw office. Krakow staff were helpful in rectifying this, but when we returned to Warsaw it was expected that we pay a cancellation fee!

Plus:excellent location, spacious apartment Minus: moderate comfort, relatively expensive, no hotelservice to bring guests or their luggage after arrival to their apartment. Sofa not so clean.
