Hotel Stary

Excellent location, great views, and ambience.

The hotel was extremely beautiful and very comfortable. The staff spoke excellent english, and location could not be questioned as it was only a couple of metres from the main square.

	The basement pool was fantastic especially when outside temperatures were reaching 34 degrees.
	The only problem was that they room we were booked into was right above a stage. One nights sleep was interrupted by a wedding which was booked until 4am. Fortunately the hotel reception moved us immediately when we requested.

Everything was as expected, staff friendly and helpful.Full praise to them.

	Air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy. Would waken me during the night leading to a disturbed sleep.

The location of the hotel for perfect for Krakow downtown strolling. We enjoyed the possibility to just step out and walk around to see how the city is. Number of nice restaurants and cafes were just around the corner, or at least a few blocks away. Getting further out (e.g. to Auschwitz) was still not a problem, as the tour bus departure point was only a walking distance away. The hotel is a bit pricey to our regular standards, but celebrating an anniversary motivated us to pay a bit more. And it was worthi it. Junior suite with 200 euros was not too much. Also, as we requested a quiet suite in the hotel (I can't say that there would be any other kind), we were able to enjoy our own peace as well.

	Nicely designed interiors. Sauna/pool department. Easy going, helpful staff. Spacious suite. Good breakfast. Perfect location
	No. Well' as it was winter time, we were not able to enjoy the terass bar - looking forward to do that next summer for example.
