Hotel Copernicus

The hotel was stunning architecturally with many original features. Quality of bedlines, bathrooms etc excellent. Quality of food high. Communal areas hard - need to be softer & more welcoming for guests to relax. Surprisingly for a hotel of this quality communal faciliies for relaxing were very poor.

We felt for a hotel of this standard the communal areas were not very welcoming - there was no comfortable lounge area for coffee etc - soft furnishings were rather hard. The library area was closed to guests for two days as the hotel was hosting a conference. Fire not lit in library which meant room was cold. The night we dined in the restaurant, although the food & service were excellent, the temperature was much too low & the air-conditioning could not be turned off.

	An historic site with faultless restaurant, rooms, spa facilities, staff and helpfulness

Wonderfully restored historic bldg on charming, quiet street. Very attentive amd friendly staff. The available computer needs a high speed connection and printer. The breakfast was really great. We would recommend it to all our friends without hesitation.

	DON'T request a room on the 3rd floor there are not windows only skylights

Great hotel situated in ideal location. Only one moan - they should more relaxed seating area in the foyer for guests to unwind with a drink.
