Hotel Batory Guest Rooms

The Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main square and about 5 - 10 minutes from a massive shopping mall. Although it is not bang smack in the city centre it is in a very nice quiet area. The Jewish town is also very near (10-15 minutes walking distance). The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and were always happy to arrange a taxi or book us on a tour. Tour buses leave every morning and evening from the hotel reception.

	Free wireless internet is available at the hotel. T.V. channels included a selection of German, Dutch, French and English channels. If you are looking for a nice meal at a low price head to Roosters. Going from the hotel head for the main square. It will be on your left before you get to the square.
	I wasn't too keen on the breakfast. There was a very nice selection for French and German tastes but an English/Irish breakfast was not catered for.

I've read other reviews and noticed people complaining about the neighborhood ("a bit dodgy") and the "continental" breakfast....but we thought the location was perfect. Literally on the "other side of the tracks" but really just a 10-15 minute walk to main square and the bus/train station. There is an amublance service across the street, but rarely heard. The breakfast was a large buffet of hot and cold choices, hardly my idea of "continental"...that's juice, roll and coffee. The staff did cook fried eggs for an obnoxious complainer. Someone else fussed that there was no electric kettle in the room. Good grief! Just stay home the next time!

	Of course, stayed in only one room, on second floor with window and ivy. Not a "view" but had the sky..Can't comment on other rooms, but ours was fine. Small double bed, but separte comforters, so no blanket wars.
	My husband thought the bathroom a bit tiny

The hotel is located within the walking distance from the city centre. The room that we stayed in was quite spacious and reasonably priced. The breakfast included as part of the total package was quite nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I'd stay there again.

This hotel was incretable!! I recommand guest house locatted 10meters separated from main building. The furniture and shower rooms were so clean and the resturant serves very delicious menu,and also breakfast was pretty good. Is this hotel really 2 OR 3stars hotel?? The service quolity to customoer is high level,I think.
