Ayasofya Hotel

quiet, convient, pleasant staff. No nearby food. neighborhood is being upgraded.

We thought this was the perfect hotel for a short stay in Istanbul. Extremely well located and very helpful staff. Would defintely go back there

	Friendly Staff and Good Location

I have stayed at the Ayasofya Hotel on two occasions , once for 5 days in October 2006 and recently for 3 nights in May 2007. The breakfast is copious and the staff are generally very helpful. This last time,however, we went to a restaurant on the advice of one of the people at the desk and we were quite disappointed. If possible, the answer is to book retaurants, particularly ones mentioned in the guide books well in advance.

	We did the regular tourist things and also took advantage of the lovely rooftop terrace. There is a beautiful mosque a short distance away that is worth visiting.
	Noise travelled easily between a neighbouring bathroom and ours. I did not notice this during my first stay. There was a problem using the hotels online booking system. That is why I used eurobookings.

Very nice lowcost hotell, well situated in the city. Walkingdistance to most of the interesting things. Interesting genuine Istanbullich area. Not a touristarea.

	Very friendly staff. Did more than expected for us. Nice terrass, weiw over the Marmarasea.
	Well! the breakfast vas poor but alright. Maybe this was a typical Turcich breakfast.

Good location, nice atmosphere, beds not comfortable.
