The room was OK, but the heating was turned on only for the night, after 7-8 pm,
only after several requests from us. We got a room with a balcony (the view was
nice), but we had to move into another room, since the pipes taps were leaking
so much that they filled up the rubbish bin every day. They promised to get it
fixed, it did not happen. This would have been fine (we can somehow live with
not using the bin), but then the shower-head started to fail to switch on, so we
got only water from the tap in the shower cabin. We got promises again, the
repair did not happen. So we moved into another room. Here the only problem was
the unclosable balcony door in that november chill. We could fixed that holding
it close with the chair for the remaining nights. So, if you are
budget-conscious, not too picky, and have a sense of humor, and able to deal
with such problems, it is OK to stay here. At least you get a taste of the
laid-back, "no worry-no hurry" turkish mentality.

the staff is really friendly and very helpful ... little bit sad, that the
terrace on top was closed already, because it must be nice there to drink
something at a bar having view to the Marmarasea ... the first room was too
little for two persons ... I think there are two aspects which should be
increased by the albatros hotel: 1. the cleanliness in general and 2. the
breakfast with turkish coffee included ...
