I became aware of the summer special offer through playing golf at Slaley Hall and decided to book up for our wedding anniversary. For all the reasons stated above I felt the hotel was one of the best where we had ever stayed.

All the staff we spoke to or were attended by from reception to cleaners were extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds and the views are excellent and the rooms were really comfortable. |

My only criticism is the same as for everywhere we have stayed and that is that after you done eveything you planned to, be it eat, drink, walk, play golf etc, when you return to your room to relax for the rest of the evening the choice of television programmes is poor. Get what we are all used to these days, Sky please. A good suggestion not a complaint! |

Slaley Hall was one of the best short stays we have had, the staff were all cheerful courtious and helpfull,the food both breakfast and evening meal were first class, the surrounding locations both inside and outside the hotel were a joy to see and walk round,

The main thing we liked was that we were treated like we were friends rather than visitors |

Just thought the bar prices were a bit over the top, but hey as you probably know all too well we are on holliday and we are expected to grin and bear it. |

Excellent hotel and the satff were very helpful.The food and decor in the converted rooms was stylish and the programme of continued imporovemnt will continue with this.

Great deal from euro bookings This hotel is fantastic. The location is quiet with a lovely country setting. If you like golf, relaxing in the spa, exercise on in the gym, cycling or off road then this place is for you We have problems booking in however the receptionist upgrade our room because of the delay.

Another enjoyable stay at Slaley Hall Hotel. Highly recommended. Costs for drinks in bar in particular quite pricey.
