The Green Dragon is a traditional hotel, clean and comfortable. Situated in the centre of Hereford, it is ideal. The hotel has many original features, creating a welcoming atmosphere and character. Staff are helpful and friendly, i cannot fault this establishment....keep up the good work!

Well placed central hotel, good restaurant (oak panelled room) many old features (eg servant call bells in rows above main stairs) high ceilinged rooms with larger than normal on-suite, with slightly uneven creaky floors - all presumably deriving from the hotel being an old coaching inn. Own car park across road at the back, but may be full at busy times. Comfortable public rooms.
The peace and quiet in spite of its central location, and being able to walk around the town without worrying about car parking. The dining staff were able to handle dietary requirements without trouble - and meal was filling! |

Has seen better days and really needs a major renovation. Our room was almost in the attic but consequently nice and quiet. We did not even have any soap provided in the bathroom. Staff were friendly but not exceptional. Car parking barely adequate.
Central location. |

Very scruffy. |

Very well situated in the city centre. Very helpful staff. Good food.
the comfort in the room. the location of the hotel in the town |

sometimes, noisy street at night |

We were put out that our Visa debit card was unacceptable for an account, which meant we had to pay separately for everything. This has never happened in any country before and penalises people who try to avoid debt.
Roomy room, basically clean. |
|
Poor welcome & service. Torn sheets and bed cover. Very squeaky floors. |

Great place, perhaps looking a little tired now although good value for money.
Breakfast! |

Lovely old hotel, needs a bit of a cash injection but that doesn't detract from the atmosphere or the warmth of the place.
Great food and I always feel vey comfortable there. |

My room was above the restaurant and they left music playing for two nights before we worked out where it was coming from - this disturbed my sleep, but staff were very helpful in solving the problem. |

The location couldn't be better, right in the centre of things yet not too noisy. Public areas are good, the room we had was a bit tired, could have been cleaner, in fact the bedspread was quite dirty. All in all was okay for one night, would stay there again simply because of the location.
