Days Inn Hotel Gretna Green

"used" needs complete refurshment. Difficult to find heading South. Badly signpsted. Beds need replaced. Does not compare with Premier Inn on standards. The grounds and general ambience of the place is liken to a "truckers" overnight. A foosty smell was experienced in toilet and a pump action was required to flush loo.

	Nothing.... very run down
	Knock it down and build something decent to todays standards.

It was a very nice hotel. Living up to all the conditions of that type of hotel.

	The night staff were particularly pleasant and helpful.

-Hotel is situated next to de motorway, so very noisy with traffic all day and night. -Staff forgot our breakfast, we had to ask again. -The room had only one chair -The room had two double beds (why?) though one of them was just lying on the ground, so no space left in the room - Staff seemed pro-occupied with others things then serving the customers The room was very warm because of the heating system which stood on the highest though it was nice weather warm and sunnny outside. Windows could only open a littke bit so it did not cool down much.

Useful location for travellers to North. Tolerant of dogs. Comfortable enough. Good rates.

Very clean and pleasant hotel. The staff were very helpful Very pleased. Would stay again.

	Lovely room, lovely bathroom

The room was lovely, everything we needed. We did have a problem finding the hotel from the directions but we got there eventually.

	Friendly staff and comfy beds.

This hotel was well sited for a break in our journey, but our room was dirty, the sheets were clean and that was about it.

	very dirty, windows that would not shut properly, overall an expensive place to rest your head for a few hours.
