It's a very old building and this should be bourn in mind when visiting. That said, this was our second stay. We find it a charming building and went for a "four poster" room this time. It was called the "Abbot Sellward" or something like that, which had marvellous mullioned windows and looked out over the high street. We confirmed with the chap at reception that the good Abbot didn't meat an untimely end in that room and we relieved to hear that he did not. The gentleman did, however, nod towards the Paranormal Certificate hanging on the wall behind him - a quiet night could not be guaranteed. In point of fact, we had a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast the next morning. Location is top (hence the 10) since it is slap bang in the middle of town but it is quite expensive.
