Thistle Glasgow

Had a lovely stay the leisure facilities ,suana steam room ,gym ect superb staff helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Thistle. The room was very spacious, I think we were upgraded, however it did seem a bit in need of refurbishing, especially the bathroom. In view of the cost of the room, this was still good value for money.

	We liked the location and enjoyed the lounge area for a nightcap.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and receptionist was friendly and welcoming. House keeping staff were also very friendly and very efficient. The central location was perfect for my needs. I thought breakfast options a little limited but I would certainly use The Thisle again and recommend it to colleagues and friends.

	dirty windows in the bedroom. Smell of vomit in corridor outside room - but this was sorted and cleaned quickly when reported.

Ideal for central Glasgow. Comfortable Hotel. Rooms and hotel generally were okay but not as clean in some areas as I would have expected. Breakfast was a little chaotic due to small number of staff.

On the whole, the stay at the hotel was an enjoyable experience and a great improvement on our previous stay at this same hotel.

	The location of the hotel, the parking facilities, the friendliness of the staff and their courteous behaviour.
	I was surprised that the hotel now charges overnight parking fees, as opposed to our previous 5-6 visits over the past few years. There was no indication that this is the case and will certainly affect my decisions as to future stays at this hotel.
