Buchanan Hotel

Excellent value for money. Hotel 2 mins from train station and is central for everything. We only stayed one night but would definately stay there again.

	How central hotel was to shops, pubs and clubs. Reception staff very friendly
	If there was 2 people sharing the double bed it would be quite squashed as it is a small size double

hotel was basic, clean enough & breakfast was ok. very good location though, everything was within walking distance.

the hotel's only advantage is its site right in the centre of Glasgow. The breakfast is very good, too. However, the rooms could need a refurbishment, there is wear and tear everywhere and the bathroom has seen better times. You would expect this in a backpacker hostel, but not here, so I would not stay there next time.

Fantastic staff and a great location

The location was great, but everything else was bad. There were bars outside my window, one part of the window could not be closed because it was broken (in February!!!, so it was rather cold), the heating did only work in the bathroom and not in my room, the interior of my room and bathroom was very very run-down and the light was rather dim. Furthermore, the beds were very old and not very comfortable. The linen had holes in them. So, all in all, I would not recommend the hotel. Never ever even though the location was great.

Three of us stayed here for a long weekend of Christmas shopping. The Hotel was excellent. Friendly staff, clean rooms, wonderful breakfast with lots of choice. The location meant we could easily return with all the shopping. Highly reccommened. Will definatley go back again.

We came and stayed in this hotel for the football weekend and had a fantastic time. The staff that we met were so friendly and very accommodating. If anyone has a bad word to say about this hotel I defy them to prove it... Would reccmmend Menzies to anyone wanting to indulge themselves.
