very disappointing, being advertised as a luxury boutique hotel, it certainly was not. The room we had was adequate and nothing more. The square pillows were very uncomfortable and the ensuite was very small. The most annoying aspect of the hotel was the lift. When called for from the second floor was inevitably stuck in the basement and we had to either as for it to be attended to or walk down the stairs. Of the six occasions we used the hotel during our one night stay it was stuck in the basement four times. On leaving the breakfast room to go upstairs we had to get a member of staff to make some sort of adjustment to get the lift to take us up again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Extremely friendly staff, happy to help in any way, and the food is lovely.

	A group of 11 went whitewater rafting during the day and out into glasgow in the evening. The hotel is an ideal location for going out at night.
	The 3rd floor was very warm, but I kept my window open and used the AC and felt fine in the room.

Good hotel, although the rooms are a little bit on the small side. Well decorated, down to the timorous Beasties curtains, but why have the blinds been taken down? Bathroom well appointed, if again short on space. At long last, a bath - take notice Lang's - and well supplied. Very handy for city and central delights.

	Perhaps the insulation between the rooms could be better. In fact, there is no perhaps about it. Stay partly spoint by noisy neighbours waking us up at 4 a.m.
