We stayed here to go to Wembley Stadium, 15 mins walk to station, nice walk if weather good.
Good breakfast, freindly staff. Reasonable restaurant. |
|
No mini bar, no drinking water in room, 4 poster room very small and dark, bathroom needed updating, building work going on. Restricted wine list in restaurant. |

The room was large and comfortable but a long way from reception. I could have done with a map to find the room and help carrying my heavy bag. I got lost and ended up in the kitchens trying to find my way back to the bar.
The size of the room |

The difficulty of finding the room and navigating around a warren of corridors and fire doors whils carry luggage. |

The Bull Hotel was the venue for our daughter's wedding, 28/12/07. The day exceeded our expectations and all that attended had that day had only praise for staff involved and in particular the chef and his team whom did a wonderful job. The Toastmaster for the occasion, Mr Peter West, was superb and ensured that all ran smoothly. I would like to add that if anyone asks me in future about possible venues for weddings your hotel will be highly recommeded.
The rooms were comfortable and adequate for our needs. The service was friendly and polite. The location was perfect for all that attended the wedding. |

The temperature was perhaps too hot. On our first night, 27/12/07, my wife and I were kept awake because of the music left on in the bar area. I had to go to reception at 3am to ask if it could be turned off which was duly done. |

Very comfortable and friendly hotel where nothing appeared to be too much trouble for the staff, from assistance at locating my parents by reception to service at the pub. Rooms and bathrooms very well presented; the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay, even it was only for one night.
I liked the choice of hotel cocktail bar and a local pub to choose from. The rooms were very comfortable and I liked the room entertainment system. |

We feel that the room was badly laid out; too much furniture for such a small room. I have a back problem and to reach the wardrobe I had to move a table and two chairs then to get out the tea/coffee tray I had to move the chairs again. The room was extremely hot and the pillows were not filled with feathers nor were the pillow cases cotton, therefore my head and nightdress were wet when I got up in the morning. We were very disappointed having remembered the hotel from several years ago.
We enjoyed the two evening meals we had and the breakfast was ok on two mornings but on the third morning the toaster was not working properly. |

It was not the old 'coaching Inn' which we remembered from previous visits and the refurbishment of the rooms is not, in our opinion, up to standard. Who designed the layout?! |

On our arrival the booking was wrong. They changed rooms 3 times for Miss Jones but still didn't give her a smoking room. They couldn't get to grips that it was a Miss Not Mr Jones that was checking in and even the bill was made out to a Mr Jones of London. and it was booked under my name Mrs Hindson!! Too long to check in. Didn't like the fact we were seated next to a man on his mobile working on his laptop when we were having dinner.
We liked the hotel when you finally got the booking right. The staff were pleasant the food was good. |

Just the check in but I did mention this at the time of checking out and was told my comments would be taken on board. |
