Ghent River Hotel

My wife and I travel quite frequently to Holland from the UK to see relatives and located your hotel in the internet. Although we only stayed one night we found the hotel excellent particularly the roof restaurant. Our only porblem was locating it which in the absence of car navigation aids we found difficult. A better map with the site illustrations showing all streets and one ways would help.

	breakfast oké and the fact that every day the Dutch paper Telegraaf was available
	yes, the fact that we had to sleep in a double bed (our pref.was 2 separate beds)

The Ghent River Hotel location is perfect for a city trip. The interior design is very good and the ambiance is great. The parking cost in the Vrijdagmarkt parking garage are reasonable.

	The ambiance of the hotel and the room
	Already one hour before the end of the breakfast periode the buffet was not complete any more. The limited staff did not have a priority for cleaning tables after first use. The driving instructions was only clear after reaching the Hotel (Of course the roadworks and the preparations for he Tour de France were not very helpfull)

Got the impression it used to be a very nice and modern hotel but no refurbishment has been done since a long time

	Room smells, Fitness room is a joke

Very pleasant with good breakfast

	WE enjoyed the variety of choice at breakfast!
	We had trouble finding it in the car, and finding somewhere to park
