Willa Jolanta

Willa Jolanta was a pleasant surprise. It is located in a nice neighborhood and pretty close to the tram network (5min walk). I'd recommed this to anyone visiting Gdansk. Owner and staff were very helpful.

• Staff was helpful, apartment spotlessly clean, apartment well equipped (kitchen, satellite TV, BBQ etc)

We stayed in a twin appartment at the Willa Jolanta. The room was huge, had a lovely kitchenette area and bathroom (with shower). Our hostess, Jolanta, was lovely and very welcoming - she even brought us some cake upon arrival. There was tea, coffee and biscuits in the room and apples and strawberries to help ourselves to by the front door. The room was very clean and confortable and had a balcony with chairs and a table. There was a new television, satallite and radio.

• The facilities were perfect, the place quiet (although we were off season) and the hostess very welcoming. I spoke Polish, so I cannot rate how good her English would be.
• The apartment is about 30 minutes walk away from the old town of Gdansk. It's situated in a plesant residential area but there are no attractions there. The walk into town is ok, and a cab back cost 17 zloty of an evening (about 4 pound sterling). I would suggest that the apartment would suit a family or a guests with a car who would like to explore the surrounding region. However, due to it being outside of the centre of Gdansk the cost was very reasonable.
