I've stayed there a few times before while traveling between Iowa and Kentucky, but it's been a couple years. It looked to me as though the facility had been refurbished. It was lovely, and the bed was more comfortable than I remember the beds there being. As usual, I pulled in after 9, a little tired and stressed after driving thru a very bad storm. The girl at the desk was the helpful, pleasant face I needed at that moment. I left early the next morning, and I thought, "I should write a review, because this was really pleasant." Also, I got a great last-minute price deal, which made the difference in me choosing to stay there.
One suggestion: provide lids for the lobby coffee cups so people leaving early can have a cup to go.

The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the best I ever have seen in a motel with the single exception noted below.
There is a bed in room 234 that needs to be removed.
