Old Waverley Hotel

In all thing but one I found my stay there very enjoyable. It is convenient and the Staff willing and helpful. However as a Disabled Person it was a nightmare getting from ground to Reception and your lifts were slow and confined. Alas there was no Wardrobe in my room. Otherwise fine and the brakfasts superb.

the hotel was excellent and I could find no fault with it. The only down side was the weather which the hotel had no contol. I would recoment the hotel to anyone.

Good central location,opposite Waverly station exit. Internal architecture good but not fantastic. Small Double rooms are adequate but the standard rooms are better and more expensive. the staff are friendly and very helpful and the chef makes a good freshly cooked breakfast. Rooms are very warm but the beds are sheets and blankets not duvets !!! However the girls make them back up beautifully each morning so you dont have to recall how to do hospital corners!1 While in Edinburgh, Visit Holyrood park and take one of the many routes up to king Arthers seat then onward and upwards to Salisbury Craig for the best view of the city you can ever get. The walk may be strenuous but the view is worth it and you will remember it forever.

	The use of two single sheets as the bottom sheet instead of a double sheet Key Collection slow when others are booking in due to lack of reception staff on duty,but it wasnt a continual problem

The room was fantastic. The breatfast was very nice. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is the best in the city without much noise outside.

We really liked this hotel and would stay there again.
