I stayed 5 nights and it was a pleasure. Quiet big room with big bathroom

I enjoyed my stay at the Ballantrae Hotel very much. Due to the finals of the rugby championship it had been very difficult to find a room in Edinburgh that weekend and I was glad they had a room for me: it was on the basement, but very confortable and clean, it seemed newly refurbished and it had a door to the back yard. I loved the location and it was lovely to start my day with a visit to the neighbouring Cathedral and then walking to the city center.

I didn't stay much at the hotel, but I particularly liked to have breakfast in the beautiful and sunny dinning room. The buffet was very nice and the staff was always ready to cook something hot. |

Due to the very busy weekend, the staff forgot to clean my room once. And I think it would be really nice for the Ballantrae to offer its guests a wireless connection to the internet. |
