Swallow Dundee Hotel

Hotel is convinently located on the way into Dundee. Comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. A bit down at the heel in parts, the room we were in could have done with a face lift. Staff were really helpfull and pleasant - would use again.

Good reception, atmosphere and service. Easy parking and clear signs. However, radiators clanked very loudly when heating up. Heating off from before 10pm. Need extra blankets to last night without becoming cold. There are some but not that obvious and might help to call attention to them as is done for additional towels.

Lacked the feeling of cared for quality in the room and throughout the hotel The simming pool was just too tiny to be able to do anything and the pool heating was subject to repair when we visited

WE were unable to stay as booked as the boiler was u/s and we were diverted elsewhere (WHICH WAS EXCELLENT)

It has become a little jaded. We arrived at 10:30 pm and had problems getting any food. The night porter did finally sort it out.

little bit far from city center,but room is clean,I was satisfied

good value hotel.. beds very comfortable, and overall the room was ok, wall covering needed up graded, and bathroom, looked as tho' the suite had been replaced, but was very grotty and mouldy round the sealant.We were unfortunate to have noisy neighbours,who kept us awake till about 5am, we did not complain, but apparently others beat us to it, would definately stay again, but during mid week.
