Aston Hotel - Dumfries

An absolutely lovely experience and great value for money - one of the nicest and most comfortable hotels I have stayed in for what it cost. Highly recommended. Book online though and save some more money haha!

	the bathrooms were great - ive never seen a shower with a seat - nuts!

Everything about our stay was enjoyable. The food was brilliant. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

It was a pleasure staying at the Aston and we are hoping to stay again so. I have recommended recently to friends who have gone on to also enjoy their stay with you. The breakfast was disapointing and had to wait a long time for our coffee on the second morning. Was hoping for some haggis as it stated traditional Scottish breakfast. Always had a full Scottish breakfast at other hotels north of the border.

	Convenience and surrounding to Easterbrook Hall. Entrance and bar area is very welcoming
	Outside of the extension is not in keeping with the beautiful surrounding of the main building, church and Easterbrook Hall

A very modern and convenient stopping point in southern Scotland. Very comfortable.

	Restaurant / bar area seemed very crowded with staff rushed off their feet

Lovely,tranquil surroundings and beautifully decorated hotel. Bedrooms very comfortable, smart modern decor. Shower room particulary well designed (all in one) - can you let me have the name of the manufacturer as it looked so easy to keep clean?

	We loved the decor in bedroom, felt hand picked & very indivdual. Food in restaurant (evening meal) very good. Would highly recommend it. Beautifuuly presented & very tasty with lots of local (Scottish)produce featured on menu.
	The design at the back of hotel (car park side) is really ugly and too modern. The choice of materials of turquoise facade already looks old and tired. Such a pity you weren't able to carry on with the old red brick at front of building!
