Kikuoka Mercure Golf Club

Rooms: OK, however only 1 (one) international English speaking channel. Reception: managed to give out wrong key - not for the first time! Restaurant: complete disaster!!. We were 20-24 persons staying at the hotel. When we went to dinner we were not allowed to sit on the sunny terrace (there was ample space available) so we were placed in the cold shadow in the heavy smoke from the grill. When we complained about sitting in the smoke - some of the children were allergic and even healthy adults had problems with sittingin a cloud - for real, we were told that we had no other option. We were sitting at different tables so I don't understand the problem. The barbecue dish was uneatable. The meat was so gray and hard that you couldn't tell beef from chicken or pork. I complained about the dry meat and was told that I was wrong and that it was the way grilled meat is supposed to be. The same happened to another guest - who is a member in the golf club the next day. The other in the party understood that there was no reason to complain when the barbecue chef refused to listen, but everybody - except one - found the 160 EUR dish disgusting. We had to wait 40 minutes to pay during which period nobody even tried to see if we wanted dessert. Breakfast was not a sensation either. It's not the first visit to the Kikuoka club, but it's definitely the last. We went to the indoor pool with our children which cost 8 EUR. It was a very warm and sunny day. Parents therefore sat down just outside the pool room close enough to be able to watch the children. We were not eating, drinking, smoking or in anyway behaving in a manner, just talking and reading magazines, when we were told that we were not allowed to be outside. Club rules. We were all dressed in shorts and shirts, not even dressed in swimsuits. But Nope, the club had complained. Guests are not allowed outside. However guests are appearantly allowed att the cashiers presenting a credit card.

Relax at the maximum. Great value for money and very nice staff. Great experience. We will make this a regular stop on our travels between Switzerland and Belgium.

• Swimming pool only opens at 10.00 am . Would have loved to use it before I had to leave.

Breakfast much too expansive

A nice, welcoming place, good view of the course, food better than expected (but unmistkabaly in the Accor style)

we had a very pleasant stay in kikuoka hotel.We went there for a short break and it was really perfect. Staff was very kind, rooms large and clean, food good and golf very pleasant.

Plesant hotel, very friendly staff. Very professional. Restaurant and breakfast were great. The room I stayed in was very spacious and relaxing.

I appreciate the hotel for the quiet atmosphere. Perfect choice when hotdeal price condition are applicable.

A very luxury, beautiful hotel on a beautiful location.

• Breakfast on the terrace, looking out over the golfcourse.
• We had a room en suite with three adults. The bed downstairs was not very suitable for an adult. The 4-bedroom is just for a family with kids.

The room was very nice and comfortable with a nice view over the golfcourse.

• After visiting Luxembourg we wanted to drink a beer in the bar. There was nobody, so we decided to go to our room. In the minibar was only one bottle, so we drunk water. Suggestion; put two of each in the minibar.
