very central. good views from the rooms of the canels .rooms need updating rather tatty and worn . staff very friendly and helpfall.

The hotel location into the city center was convenient, and Ms Sabine (the desk customer service) wellcomes us kindly and acted in a very efficient manner. Unfortunately, our room was located at the celar floor next to a water closet for the hotel bar customers.

	Because of the public-customers WC our room was very smelly and furthermore we cannot sleep for the night because of the noise of the bar.
	We advice the hotel direction not renting the smelly room n° 302 next to WC and because of the noisy bar.

we had a very shabby room in the attic of the hotel, with a bed that had obviously seen better days, the satff are very helpfull and the food is lovely but the bedrooms really do need a refurb as they are very shabby ..oh and watch out for the mosquitoes in the night....i had 143 bites when i woke in the morning !!!!!!!!!!!!!

	Brugges is a lovely place to visit, you need good shoes though as the cobbles kill your feet
	check the room before you pay as i personally wouldn`t have stayed if i had done this

We are received by the reception very friendly. Because I am older, a bid more service by carrying the suitecases to the higher etages over narrow stages should be very appreciated. The solution with the garage is oké. (Bruges is a beautiful town however was (is) a terrible town to find your way in the centre by car in spite of a Belgium made navigator). The breakfast salon is very causy and the breakfast oké.

	The views from the rear side hotelrooms,over the canal is beautiful. This is Bruges in the middle ages. For romantic souls this is an hotel to stay. In my case I returned after 26 years to see it and to be there again. We celebrated the day we met each other.
	The television screen too small. In fact it was a bad television with a bad remote control. A radio/cd/dvd, costing almost nothing nowerdays, in relation to the hotelrate is in my opinion a must, especially in winter en early spring time when a walk in the evening is less pleasant.
