A daily boat trip is traditional and a “must” for those of you who wish to experience the world famous Turkish hospitality on the crystal clear sea. A range of cafes, restaurants and shops can be found a long the beachfront. The busy town of Bodrum is easily reached by “dolmuş” the local minibus, within 15 minutes (8 km away). Dominated by its massive Crusader castle, Bodrum is the lively centre of local life with hectic quaysides, tourist shops and a wide variety of bars, restaurants and fashionable out door nightclubs.
Bitez, “the friendly beach of Bodrum”, is a favourite haunt of both water sports enthusiasts and those in pursuit of calm and tranquillity in an unspoilt setting. The sea slopes gently down plenty of shallow water for younger children to splash around in. Incoming boats and windsurfers are safely zoned away from swimmers. Bitez is a great windsurfing resort with a light breeze in the morning for beginners. In the afternoon the “meltemi” wind gives more of a challenge for the more advanced. Wind surf equipment may be hired from one of the surf schools on the beach. Other sports like dinghy sailing, water skiing, parasailing and diving are also available.
All rooms are non-smoking.
Swimming pool is surrounded with comfortable sun beds, free beach facilities, bar-cafe open all day. A turkish style buffet breakfast is included. Traditional tea and cakes are served in the afternoon. In the center of Bodrum you can find many touristic shops and a wide variety of bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
