We bought drinks in the bar and paid for them at the time. We were challenged as we left the bar by the barman who later apologised. We were with other people and were extremely embarrassed. We were never shown to a table for breakfast or helped in any way so avoided the "Reserved" tables each day only dicovering on our last day that they were only reserved for dinner. We had to give our room number to borrow an umbrella. We were charged to use the safe. We felt the hotel was mainly for corporate clients and will never return.

It was just very good. Beautiful nature, good service... Why not 10? ... just everything was as expected. Something has to be left for good surprises.

Well... it's not easy to find but... my blanket was not big enough... it was not too small but just not big enough to be comfortable. I'm 194cm...

Luckily we were awarded an upgrade on arrival and our suite on the 5th. floor was wonderful. The buffet restaurant was very busy in the evening but we dined in the a la carte restaurant on both nights and had exceptional service and very reasonable charges.

We stayed for one week, bed and breakfast, with two evening meals in the Golf, the breakfast was VG and the Veranda restrurant was special, although a little expensive. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the lake and the view of the lake and mountains was breathtaking.

There was some confusion at breakfast, on the tables at the window, there were signs "Reserved" it was later pointed out that the signes were to be ignored at breakfast. There was an International rowing competition during the day, and at night the participants partied loudly up to 5am (not the Golf Hotels fault!)with the window open sleeping was disturbed.
