Apartments am Brandenburger Tor

This hotel was clean and roomy. It had basic services - no phone in our room, no internet, etc, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The "hotel" is basically an apartment building with the empty units rented as a hotel. This worked well for us, and the office people are quite helpful (when they are open). It is also very useful to have a kitchen and living room with small kids - no reading in the bathroom from 8pm on (after the kids go to sleep).

The apartment was well located and comfortable. For a short stay like mine, it would be helpful if the apartment would have coffee filters so one wouldn't have to buy a whole pack one wouldn't use. Having no screens on the windows made it unpleasant to leave them open to get good cross ventilation on warm nights because mosquitoes would come in.

No screens on the windows; because of no air conditioning it was important to leave windows open, but one couldn't because mosquitoes would come in. Unhelpful staff (except for one young man who was great). The staff is not very helpful as to where to find a post office, a phone box, a particular bank, etc. I recommend that they get some training in how to better help travellers. Also, the after-hours check-in is most inconvenient after a long flight or train ride when one is tired.

Our stay at the apartments was wonderful. The location was excellent, everything was clean and neat and we enjoyed our stay. We all wished that our stay could have been longer.

ganz im Herzen von Berlin,alles in der Naehe ,alles nur zu Fuss ,und auch S-Bahn ,U-Bahn und Bus alles in der Naehe und komfort, ganz praktisch . Uns hat der Apartment am Brandenburger Tor ganz ganz gut gefallen. Sehr schoene Zeit verbracht.! Nur die Checkout-Zeit waere zufrueh,
