Beja Parque Hotel

Bejaparque is a very modern, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. We would definately return again.

	The safe is removable, it should not be able to move.

Arguably Beja Parque Hotel is like many new modern hotels, clean, spacious with neutral furnishing in a contemporary style. The bathrooms were spacious, modern, well equipped with a bath and powerful shower. Some may say it lacks character, particularly in reation to the historic Pousada's of Portugal, but it depends what you are looking for in a hotel... For me it was the perfect choice. The bar area is small, but well stocked with friendly, helpful yet professional staff. The pool area is adequate but could do with more furnishing as it was popular late afternoon. I knew it's location well before booking, it IS on the outskirts of town, but again, for me, this was a bonus. The main reception were happy to call a Taxi on request and it is only 3.90 EURO to most parts of Beja. There is a good restaurant at the hotel serving a wide variety of international and local foods, I found it to be well priced and good quality. I can't wait to return.

	The hotel staff were very friendly and happy to meet any requests we had. The rooms were clean and spacious with an excellent daily maid service. Food in the restaurant was good quality, well priced and a diverse choice.
	I would prefer more seating around the pool side as it did get busy some afternoons.... and many people ended up sitting on the damp grass....

This lovely hotel, we heard, has been open for only one year. It is wonderfully designed, very modern, and beautifully fitted out in warm colours. It has a lovely swimming pool, good service and the staff is very friendly.

	Its beautiful design.
	Its location outside town, although perfect for car travellers, is very far from the town centre and train station. In summer it will be very hot. Although the hotel has air conditioning, there are no curtains to cover the staircase windows, and the terrace by the bar/restaurant has no awning (as yet?).
