We had problems with being woken up by residents who had been on night work drinking alcohol and laughing under our bedroom window at 6.00 in the morning. Also problems removing our car from the carpark being as had been double parked by the same residents who had parked their vans in front of various cars.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful

Could have been cleaner as dust was obvious on carpet

Overall we were pleased with our stay at the Redcar Hotel. Car parking a bit of a problem ! but at least the staff were helpful in assisting the freeing of hemed in vehicles . The supply of clean towels,if anything, was too generous ! The breakfast was reasonable; but bacon should never be microwaved . Internal decor here and there showing it's age .

The location of the Redcar is ideal being just a few minutes from the centre . The atmosphere in the hotel is quite pleasant .

At the begining of my stay, the garage just behind the Redcar left a message for me in reception concerning my car, which I did not receive until the morning of departure five days later !

The best thing about Redcar Hotel is the location. Right near the center of town, tons of things to get to. The rooms were clean and efficient - could use a face lift, but definately workable. Shower drain was an issue - barely ran any water before it filled up. The lounges were both large and interesting. Plenty of food and drink at the breakfast included with our booking. I would stay there again.

Breakfast and the staff were friendly.

Shower drain stayed plugged up regularly.

The Hotel was clean and the staff made you welcome on your arrival. The service we had was of the highest standard,

All the things we wanted on our stay we received

The only downfall was the lack of parking for the size of the hotel.

the lodation was perfect

the location

we friendly asked to leave all the luggage in one room until 11.3o, which was not possible, we asked if they had a locked place to put the luggage, they hadn't. They told us to leave the baggage in the dining-room and that is what we did. When we came to take the luggage, they wanted to charge us!!!!! Of course we did not pay.

Very nice location, with easy access to the City, first impressions was when we went into the lobby, very nice, the let down was the size and location of the room, very small in size, and the shower/toilet room also was not very nice, a bit disapointing from that point of view.

The Location of the hotel.

Satisfactory in respect of location and cleanliness. Friendly staff.Exellent choice of breakfast items.Plenty of tea and coffee in room.

We could have a nice meal in the hotel in the evening.

Lack of hot water on occasion.

Very pleasant, comfortable and warm. Staff helpful and courteous.Lovely dining room and excellent breakfast. Car parking very limited and difficult. Hotel in a very quiet location, well situated for walking into the centre of Bath. We were welcomed very warmly , but the receptionist on checking out was completely uncommunicative and indifferent.

Generally good facilities and a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel.

Shortage of drawer space in room 115 and net curtains in need of a wash. Surprised that contractors were allowed in the lovely dining room in their dirty working clothes and boots - the fine dining chairs and carpet will soon be spoiled for other diners. An extra knife at breakfast would be useful for butter and marmalade,as at present diners have to use the knife already used for the cooked breakfast.
