Very Clean and Central hotel 5 mins walk to La Ramblas. Breakfast quite basic. Have stayed here before and would definately stay again.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was charming and the tranquil balcony a welcome respite from the busy ramblas. Breakfast was ample.

Overall, a very well placed Hotel for access to Barcelona's Las Ramblas and Gothic Quarter ...however, the night-noise was intolerable and the general location was poor with respect to the numerous drunken vagrants and party-going students, etc. Keep your wits about you when returning to the hotel in the "small-hours"

Nice old fashioned hotel. There is a construction just outside the hotel at the moment. A bit noisy if you're in during daytime and have your window open.

The only uncomfortable feeling I had was during the breakfast time. The woman who looked after the kitchen was very unhappy if we took our coffee into the sitting room. She watched us very carefully and was disapproving, although there were no accidents such as coffee being spilled. That woman was unpleasant, but the overall experience was very nice. I apologize for a couple in our group who were obnoxious. Thank you.

This is a 2 star hotel and was fine as such. I'd consider paying 15% more next time for a 3 star.

The hotel was GOOD! Polite and friendly staff, clean, good situation near Plaza Cataluna. It was oldfasioned, rooms, furnitures and overlook, like old castle but we liked it. They cleaned and changed the bedclothes and towels daily. We got hot water anytime of the day, although we had a 4-persons family room.
