Overall spaces and decor very pleasant
Restaurant decor, food and service also good
- did not like that I was given the "handicapped" room without asking me
- at 11.00 pm I tried to call reception to order breakfast for next morning and I had NO ANSWER in spite of repeated attempts

What I liked the most was the friendliness and the professionalism of the staff. Me and my girlfriend were offered a glass of champaign on the checking in the hotel. This is not difficult to be done, it does not cost much but raise your opinion about the hotel so much that you try not to see some of the old furnitures in your room later on.

The Hotel was neat and the staff attentive.
The ease of checking in and checking out and the opportunity to store our luggage after we had checked out.
Our apartment was at the front of the hotel and smokers would gather by the front door and have a noisy conversation. Also the smoke from the smokers easily walks up the front of the hotel into the rooms above if the window is open.

I was asked to pay the full bill upon check-in... strange behaviour Climate control : a nightmare... cannot really control temperature Staff not terribly helpful. I have booked through you many times before, never encountered such an attitude

Really a very nice, clean and confortable place. Good food and excellent service. Located in a very strategic position and close from every public transport system in Barcelona.
