Grupotel Gravina

excellent hotel for sightseeing very central and staff very helpful

We were first given a substandard room but after making an argument of the issue a room of the right gategory was given. Note that only the rooms along Gravina are worth the given rating.

It was a nice small hotel in the middle of the city , near to everything,nice staff while waiting for the check-in we were offered a glass of cava ( a nice welcome !) No noice from the street although we were on the first floor.

	Nice staff, clean room ( without these carpets wall to wall , Thank Good !)
	The breakfast buffe was very nice , but overpriced 16 Euro / Person !

Very good location, friendly staff.

	With one exception (the receptionist did not bring to my room the glass of water (instead of champaign, wich I do not drink), as she promised, upon my arrival, even though it was her offer - and I was so thursty...), the staff was extremely friendly and ready to help.
	The room maid did not put everyday all the hygienic items on the shelf in the bathroom, as happens in other hotels.

	Arrived tired, the staff did't tell me that my room was in the second building on the 6th floor, so I looked desperately in the first building which has only 5 floors

We found the hotel to be perfectly located for sight seeing. The rooms were very clean and the staff very helpful. Having stayed in Barcelons before, we found this hotel to be the best value for money of all the places we have stayed. We would certainly return on our next trip.
