CABINN Aarhus Hotel

I have stayed at hotel repeatedly and always been quite satisfied. This time all the below-average ratings are caused by a) winterly weather, b) ONE major blunder, and c) a flaw in the aircondition (AC) system: During the night, the temperature in my room - and other rooms but not all! - fell to a quite intolerable level. The AC thundered away noisily at full blast, but the air flow was cold and extremely dry. There caretaker was unavailable. and the porter could only offer extra blankets and heater fans. I chose the latter, but it increased the noise and the dryness even more. And there's absolutely no way to set either temperature or AC airflow! Very unpleasant night - and I'm not generally fussy! BREAKFAST: I have never been impressed with the breakfast table - nutritionally it could be a lot better without getting expensive. This time, the fruit basket held 4 elderly apples, two of which were rotten. It was refilled after a while, but it shouldn't happen in the first place. The tea is booooring and the coffee little better. INTERNET: The wireless internet - a major reason to chose a hotel for me - has always worked very well in the limited areas it covers. But it is getting very noticeable that others like it too: it is heavily overloaded with traffic and should be upgraded. For many reasons, it's fine to have a limited range on the wireless router. But having the internet connection is such an impotant asset that one wonders why a LAN socket is not offered in the rooms.

	I generally like the hotel, the staff, the facilities, and the location, but...
	...I would still hesitate to recommend the hotel to others - or bring colleagues to it as I did this time. I would need to be convinced that this was an unfortunate one-off if I should consider returning on my own! I hope to be convinced in time.

If you only need a good nights sleep its very fine. I wouldn´t like if I were a tourist staying several nights - tehe roome are to small for that

	It was clean
	Difficult to find your way to the hotel because pedestrian streets, one way streets and the the road signs are confusing. So include a map with directions on the home page and the confirmation document.

A very nice centrally located Hotel, clean rooms, plain and simple interiors, necessary staff presented at the minimum level. Good, budget profitable place to stay on business, for students and travelers.

Perfect location, ok room; but not so clean.
