Main reason for choosing The Toren: Location
This hotel was very pleasant and the staff were excellent. The location was fab and was easy access to a lot of the famous atractions. ie Van Gough Museum, Nemo and The Vondel park. The weather was great and this added to a brilliant weekend. We have been to Amsterdam quite a few times and did find that prices had increased and that the cost of a dinner for the three of us was around 120 Euro's.
The bar was very nice and again the staff were very attentive. The breakfast was very nice but would have liked a small dining room which would have been easier with children as they found it difficult to reach the table sitting on the lounge seats.
The room that we had was just inside the front door and we found the room to be very noisy.Our Son was woken very early on the Monday morning by people coming and going, slamming doors and speaking quite loudly.Also we thought we were going to get a triple room but they just put in an extra bed which made the room very cramped and the bathroom was also very small for three people.

I loved the decor of the hotel. The delux double seemed small. Service and staff were good.

We liked our stay in this hotel very much. We hope to go back some day. Nice and quiet surroundings, good atmosphere and serviceminded staff. Good location.
The atmosphere. The staff. The mouse. The bar and service there. Very Romantic atmosphere - suitable for couples of every kind.

Very good breakfast.We like the furniture and of course the Nespresso machine. Rooms are very quiet.
